Hi Tina - sorry to hear you are still struggling so much. Are you any nearer a proper diagnosis yet? I've lost track cos can't get back to the old forum.
I wish Daniel all the best for his appointment. How has he been faring in the cold weather? Hope he's ok.

So sorry you're still suffering so much. I wonder what this is?
And we will say a big prayer for Daniel on Monday...please let us know the results etc..
You have had such a challenging year and I wish I could meet up with you for a drink, not much chance eh?!
Love, A

Dear Tina,
Have they tested you for RA yet? It is not acceptable to leave you suffering so much without at least testing to see if you also have the condition. From what you tell us, it could well be.
Hoping that you find some help soon,
Eleanor x

Dearest T,
I think you may have to insist they do alot more tests and I am afraid you may have to have a test for RA. It doesn't always show up but best to have it done....
Always thinking of you here,
A

Hi Tina,
I agree with Amanda, my GP told me 3 times that I didn't have RA. When I eventually saw the rheumatologist he put me straight on methotrexate the day I saw him. Please keep badgering them Tina - you deserve some relief.

well Daniel went monday and brilliant news, they said it has healed it self so we was very happy about that but i also have been through a lot of hospital stuff with him and problems with hospitals which most you know about so i am thinking did he ever have it but i dont care now as long as he ok. I went to the doctors today and she said i dont know whats wrong we have done the tests and nothing has come back so she just asked me to try more antiplamitrys and codiene so i told her well i will be going private if nothing else happens cause i have had it long enough now over 6 months and every time you just say well i dont know , the siaticka sorry spelt wrong lol just more pain killers thats all that doctors seem to do dish pain killers out i have had a perscription now every two week and i know it only £7.20 but it adds up and today she gave me three so it was £7.20 3 times and it adds up over the time. I just felt like crying when came out cause i am sick of it. I work full time i have a family to look after and i in constant pay just fed up with it.( how can i look after a family and do everything when it kills me well daft of me to say it i do do it cause i no choice.

OH, Lovely,
This is NOT good enough, you must feel so helpless and as if they are really deaf to your pain.
Have you tried another GP in the same surgery? They are not experienced with every illness out there and hence there are times when things are overlooked. It isn't acceptable to brush you off with more pain relief and they *are* exceedingly costly.
BUT Daniel's news is just wonderful. Ecstatic to hear this. Marie was born with a heart murmur which cleared up after a few months, it is very distressing indeed.
I am keeping you in my prayers,
God Bless, Amanda
